Vlad Jr. Makes His Debut...
Well the most highly anticipated debut of a minor leaguer happened a few nights ago and it couldn't have been more entertaining. Vlad Guerro's son who is refereed to affectionately by all as Vlad Jr. is the number one prospect in all of baseball as the best hitting phenom we have seen in a while. He's the first player ever to receive an 80/80 grade on hitting and power. He is a hefty kid at 20 years old but he is very mobile and plays the hot corner, third base, very well with a rocket arm like his old man. He is the big, bad, moon shot hitting, all swag, champion of the world in the baseball realm. His debut has been on the minds of many for quite some time as he has torn up the minor leagues for a few years now.
His debut went as follows: he started the game at third base, then his first at bat was a hard grounder to the first baseman, then he his a ball that got robbed at the track on a spectacular play, then he made a great play and throw at third the following inning, the he flew out to the track once more in his third at bat, and he finally got to hit in extra innings and smashed a double down the line and scored the game winning run to walk off the A's. He truly had one of the cooler debuts I've seen that didn't have a homer involved, which is how it should be. His story is not one of a cool homer in his debut but what kind of game changer he is and how he will revolutionize that game we all love so dear over the years.

Funny story. Twitter sent me a notification that Vlad Jr. was making his debut. So I asked my husband, "who's this Vlad Jr., and why does Twitter think I care?" He says, "Oh, that's Vlad Guerrero's son." Like that helped. 😂
