Free Agency and Who's Going Where

As we get closer and closer to spring training, coming up in middle to end end of February, we have yet to see some of the biggest names on the market sign or be picked up by a team.  These names include: Bryce Harper, Manny Machado, Dallas Kuechel, and Craig Kimbrel to headline the top names on the market.  Many think the free agency game is a broken process that should be changed but not everyone sees all that goes into a player signing their life away to a team for 2 years or even up to a decade in length if they are young enough.
Starting things off with the biggest name, Bryce Haper, we have heard many speculations about where he could end up.  It seems pretty narrowed down now to about 3 teams in contention for the young superstar.  We believe to know he has narrowed his search down his former team, the Nationals, the Phillies, and the Chicago WhiteSox.  These teams are all in contention due to their money availability and need for some big time talent to spring board them into the world series hunt.  In my opinion i believe the best fit for Harper will be the Phillies as they have loaded up with big names and have the pitching to claw their way into contention for a world series run, but many believe he will not go the same division as his former team.  Look for his decision to be made in about a weeks time.
Looking at the next biggest name on the market, in Manny Machado, we see the young and talented shortstop has seemingly narrowed down his option to the WhiteSox, Dodgers, and now the Padres who have come into the fold as of recently.  His decision we believe will come down to who basically is able to give him the biggest deal in terms of money and years of security. The young star has never been one to care about winning games but seemingly be able to get paid and play his own style of game.  I believe the best spot for this young stud would be the WhiteSox as they have a crop of young talent coming into the fold that gives them the edge to win games in coming years and give him a max deal because they aren't paying other stars yet.
The next two pitching prospects in the fold are starter Dallas Kuechel and coveted closer Craig Kimbrel.  These two arms are interesting to follow because their locations have seemingly not been narrowed down yet.  The market for them is based around need and the fun thing is that everyone is in need of a top 3 starter and a power closer with a good track record.  Look for Kuechel to sign back with former team, the Astros, or end up in the American League East or Central due to his value he would place on any of those 8 teams.  Kimbrel is more interesting because many teams in the league are in need of a big time closer so he will most likely end up on the team that offers the longest deal with the highest pay out due to the value he adds to an organization as a whole.  Would love to see him end up in the NL Central or NL East to give any of those teams the boost they need to improve playoff hopes in those tight divisions.
